The renowned Stage6 R/T 70cc racing cylinder has broken records, achieved countless victories, and won numerous races. From today, the popular 70cc cylinder is finally available for all Minarelli AM6 engines.

The kit consists of:

• Aluminum cylinder with 47.6 mm bore, with 6 transfer ports and crosspiece exhaust
• High quality piston (12mm pin) with high performance piston ring
• High compression, modular cylinder head, orange anodized cover
• R/T thermal group base
• CNC machined exhaust adapter

>Innovative assembly

The truly innovative feature of this cylinder kit is the new cylinder base mounting design. The CNC-machined base bolts to the crankcase, while the cylinder is mounted via external studs, eliminating any studs that take up space in the cylinder and limit thermal expansion. This new design offers enthusiasts the ability to modify and optimize the transfer ports without the usual restrictions. A Viton O-ring seal between the adapter plate and the cylinder makes the sealing process extremely easy during piston changes.

HIGHEST LEVEL COMPETITION PERFORMANCE

In terms of performance, this cylinder is a top-tier racing kit: 24 hp is achievable when combined with the right tuning components . Thermal properties are excellent: the combustion chamber insert is bolted to the cylinder at five points, and each bolt is cooled by a dedicated cooling pocket. This stabilizes the critical bolt areas, minimizing the risk of piston seizure.

The cylinder can be installed plug & play on all AM6 engines originally equipped with an aluminum cylinder. On newer AM6 engines with cast iron cylinders, the crankcase must be slightly machined to make room for the cylinder liner.

Here are the dimensions of the base of the cylinder:

• Cylinder liner diameter: 56.7 mm
• Cylinder liner length: 16 mm

the matching exhaust

This 70cc cylinder, with the included exhaust adapter, allows for the installation of all AM6 exhaust systems with a 32 mm diameter flange available on the market. The flange features two O-rings to ensure a 100% seal, with one O-ring on the cylinder side and one O-ring on the internal side facing the exhaust.

For maximum power development, we currently recommend the following Stage6 exhausts:

- S6-96188751 (low mount)

- S6-9518805 (high mount)

The matching crankshaft

The Stage6 R/T cylinder is used with the standard AM6 stroke (39 mm) and connecting rod (85 mm). We recommend using a high-performance racing crankshaft for Minarelli AM6.
