More displacement, more power: The Stage6 R/T 95cc Big Bore cylinder for Minarelli AM6 is a top-of-the-range cylinder designed for maximum power.

Stage6 R/T - Innovation and maximum performance

Based on the famous record-breaking 70cc cylinder, the 95cc version promises even more power and offers significant potential for new peak performance.

External mounting : The CNC-machined base bolts to the crankcase, while the cylinder is secured with external bolts, preventing studs from passing through the cylinder. This solution allows for a porting rotation not possible on conventional engines and leaves tuners with numerous options for machining and optimizing the engine without being subject to the usual restrictions of insufficient material/walls.

Optimized Thermal Management : The cylinder features excellent thermal management thanks to the cylinder head held in place by five bolts. Each mounting point is cooled by a dedicated cavity. Hot spots around the studs, which are often responsible for seizures, have been eliminated, reducing susceptibility to thermal failure and allowing for uniform expansion of the barrel, essential for intensive competition use.

Big Bore Cylinder : Stage6 has completely redesigned the porting, creating a true competition Big Bore cylinder. In terms of numbers, 30 hp is easily achievable, obviously with the right setup.

Setup and assembly of the Stage6 R/T AM6 cylinder

The 95 R/T kit comes with an exhaust flange and reducer that allow the installation of all Minarelli AM6 exhaust systems with a flange diameter of 35 and 38 mm . The flange is equipped with 2 O-rings to ensure a perfect seal, with one O-ring on the cylinder side and one O-ring on the internal side towards the exhaust.

For maximum power, we currently recommend the following Stage6 exhausts:

• Stage6 R/T 90 - 100 exhaust, low flow version
• Stage6 80 - 90 exhaust, black, high-flow version

For the rest of the setup, we recommend the following components:

• Stage6 R/T AM6 crankshaft, 44 stroke, 90 mm connecting rod,
• Stage6 R/T AM6 bearing kit for 20mm shank,
• Stage6 R/T 34 mm carburetor,
• Stage6 R/T Internal Rotor Ignition by PVL Minarelli AM6,
• Stage6 R/T Minarelli AM6 5-disc clutch.

Assembly instructions 95 R/T AM6

The Stage6 R/T 95cc AM6 cylinder cannot be fitted to the AM6 crankcase without modification. The crankcase must be milled to accommodate the cylinder liner and piston.

Here are the dimensions of the base of the cylinder:

Barrel diameter: D.58.4 mm (+0.1 mm), depth 13 mm.
Piston diameter: D.53.8 mm (+0.2/-0.1 mm), depth 24 mm (±0.2 mm).

Contents of the Stage6 R/T cylinder kit:

• Aluminum cylinder with nikasil treated jacket, 6 ports, exhaust outlet with bar,
• 52mm piston / 14mm wrist pin / extra-thin piston ring,
• Two-piece high compression head with detachable pin (orange anodized),
• Specific base "R/T 95 AM6",
• 2 exhaust manifolds (35mm and 38mm),
• Gaskets and bolts required for assembly,
• NOT approved.
