Cod. S6-080166 Stage6 Minarelli oil seal assembly tool
Stage6 crankshaft oil seal installation tool for Minarelli scooters
High quality tool made from solid CNC and anodized, making the installation of crankshaft oil seals a breeze. For 50cc scooters with Minarelli engines such as Yamaha Aerox, Jog R, Slider, MBK Booster, Nitro, Stunt, Ovetto, Malaguti F12 etc.
Why is a special tool for sealing rings useful?
Proper installation of oil seals is critical to engine performance and longevity. Seals must be installed absolutely straight and to the correct depth for the respective application. Additionally, force must be applied at the correct location during installation to avoid structural damage to the seals (seal deformation).
Without the right tool, this is often very difficult. This is where the STAGE6 tool comes in, which simplifies the assembly of sealing rings. The assembly tool is available for various engine types.
Structure of the Stage6 sealing ring assembly tool
The tool has a modular design that saves money if you want to use the tool for different engines. The body (left in the photo) is used with different inserts, which are held on the main tool by an O-ring.
Each insert is provided with a laser-engraved inscription with, so you can easily recognize the correct attachment.

Transmission side = Drive side (for 50cc motorcycles)
On the back of the main tool is an orange anodized cap that can be replaced; over time it wears out if you hit it with a hammer. Here is the fun writing “Hit me one more Time”.
Tips for using and installing oil seals:
It is recommended that grease be applied to the inside of the oil seals to lubricate the contact point with the shaft. Caution: Grease should not be applied to PTFE seals or PTFE lip seals.
During assembly, do not use grease/oil on the outside of the gasket, otherwise you risk the gasket not remaining in place over time. In case of difficult applications, you can try moistening the outside of the gasket with a solvent such as gasoline.
The tool will seat the gasket at the correct depth. You should measure the position of the old gasket before removing it and check the position of the new gasket after installation.
The tool can be pushed by hand. If using a hammer, it is recommended to use a soft PVC hammer to keep the tool in good condition.
Before using the hammer tool, press the gasket by hand for the first few millimeters to ensure it is well positioned. This ensures that the gasket is not damaged.
