This is a 50cc aluminum cylinder from the Sport range with a Nickasil coating. Everything has been designed and engineered for everyday use on your bike.

The supply includes the following parts:

• 50cc aluminum cylinder, 40mm diameter, with 5 intake ports and one exhaust port with booster.
• Complete two-segment piston
• One-piece high compression aluminum cylinder head
• Gasket kit (cylinder base and head)

The design of this cylinder is based on that of its bigger brother, the Stage6 Big Racing. The main technical features of this top-of-the-range engine are summarized below:

• Unmistakable appearance, with indication of the displacement: 49 cm³.
• A design based on a 50mm engine, which features large intake ducts and a large cooling volume

In terms of performance, this Sport MKII version ranks at the top of the equivalent-cylinder rankings. This is thanks to large intake ducts for good filling of the lower part of the engine and an exhaust system with booster to ensure rapid evacuation of burnt gases. The diagrams (118° - 181°) offer a wide range of use and guarantee excellent road holding.

To ensure consistent reliability, Stage6 has opted for a double-ring piston. Using a double-ring piston slightly reduces the cylinder's performance, but significantly increases its durability. The architecture of this new cylinder, inspired by that of its bigger brother, the Stage6 Big Racing, features a generously sized water chamber to effectively cool the engine while riding.

Recommendations for optimizing the performance of the Stage6 complete cylinder:

To take full advantage of the performance of this Stage6 MKII Sport 50cc cylinder, we recommend combining it with a 21mm carburetor (minimum) and a Stage6 Streetrace exhaust (or an equivalent model from another brand). If your crankshaft has more than 5,000 kilometres on the clock, we recommend replacing it with a new, reinforced one.

Please note : 50cc motorcycles equipped with Derbi Euro 4 engines have a slightly smaller temperature sensor (thread: M12 x 1.5) than Derbi Euro 3 models (M14 x 1.5). To mount the original Euro 4 temperature sensor on the cylinder head, use the adapter MF96.91010.
