Delta Clutch

Delta Clutch is a clutch born in the scooter racing environment and quickly became the reference tool, indispensable for tuning vehicles.

The simplicity of the system allows for the tension of the spring opposing the centrifugal force to be adjusted very quickly, and the spring itself can be replaced with others with a different K, available in the Malossi catalogue.

The other prerogative is that of varying the position of the weight which determines the pressure of the friction material against the internal wall of the bell and even of replacing the weight itself with another of a different weight.

The entire system is patented to protect the product from counterfeiters and copyists who shamelessly try to circumvent the invention with every trick in the book.

Over time, Delta has gained recognition from all the most qualified technicians, as demonstrated by the facts, as it is adopted by all racing teams and by a vast clientele of sportsmen, who have recorded a continuous increase in sales.

As is natural for Malossi, the product has always been monitored throughout its development: Delta has been gradually optimised with small but important adjustments to keep the product always at the forefront.

It's important to note that asbestos has never been used in Malossi clutches, and we're proud of this. To achieve today's levels of quality and reliability, the company has invested heavily in research, especially into friction materials. It can now confidently claim to possess exclusive formulas for producing materials resistant to high temperatures, capable of maintaining the friction coefficient unchanged even when subjected to prolonged stress.

Technical Features

• Bell forged seamlessly from 39NiCrMo5 steel, hardened and nitrided with anti-oxidation surfaces.
• Anti-explosion reinforcement crown, finned to dissipate heat and protect the friction material, tested at over 20,000 RPM.
• Contact surface with relief holes sized and arranged in such a way as to obtain permanent grinding of the friction material.
• Original architecture with openings designed to create a dynamic ventilation effect capable of offering the possibility of intervening within the system to vary the clutch calibration.
• Extremely high levels of finishing with very tight tolerances.

Given the strong interest in these two items, we thought it would be a good idea for our customers to offer a box containing both products.

This allows Malossi to provide two quality products in a single package and at a slightly lower price.
