The power output of many modern racing scooters is enormous, and standard swingarms are simply not strong enough to withstand the extreme forces generated. The Gorilla Arm revolutionizes traditional frame or engine mount designs, making the frame insensitive to torsional forces. Even the most extreme forces can be absorbed by this new type of swingarm. The Gorilla Arm was developed as a complete concept for Malossi's C-One / RC-One frame for Piaggio, which is also designed for high-end use.

The Gorilla Arm offers a variety of adjustment options. The wheelbase can be adjusted by up to 25.5 mm (74.0 mm - 99.5 mm), and the swingarm angle by up to 20°. Externally mounted adjustment knobs made of solid aluminum make individual adjustments very easy. Details:

Standard swingarms present several space limitations and difficulties when it comes to mounting racing exhausts. Malossi has solved this problem, as the Gorilla Arm's U-profile eliminates the need for a central bolt, thus increasing the options for optimal exhaust routing.
