Why fit a Stage6 AM6 high flow water pump?
It is essential to monitor the engine temperature, especially in tuned engines. Fitting the Stage6 AM6 high flow water pump can significantly improve the engine cooling system. The Stage6 water pump system consists of a base plate, shaft, impeller, O-rings and bolts.

AM6 High Flow Water Pump Assembly
Installing the Stage6 water pump for AM6 is simple: start by emptying the cooling system, remove the original water pump cover and remove the impeller. Use this disassembly to check the condition of the water pump gasket and replace it if necessary.
To reassemble, reinstall the water pump shaft with the Stage6 impeller, mount the base plate with its O-rings and close with the water pump cover. Then connect the AM6 cooling hoses and bleed the cooling system. It is recommended to replace the old coolant with new.
With this Stage6 cooling system for AM6, you have two options:
reassemble the group with the original AM6 water pump cover,
or use the Stage6 R/T CNC aluminum water pump cover for even better cooling.
