Digital speed limiter with Double-Check magnet
Digital speed limiter with Double-Check magnet and automatic reactivation. Digital calculation and control of speed and rpm.
How it works:
The heart of the module is a high-performance microprocessor that continuously calculates and evaluates the current speed and rpm.
Determining the speed:
The module determines the speed using the supplied wheel sensor and a small self-adhesive magnet for the rim.
Determining the speed:
The number of revolutions is calculated directly by the CDI ignition cable for each piston revolution.
Operating modes:
-
KMH mode: Setting an upper speed limit.
-
Speed mode : Setting the maximum speed.
-
Combined mode : Works simultaneously with a speed and rev limit.
Programming and control:
Programming the maximum speed/RPM is very simple. Simply press the internal programming button to save the currently applied speed or RPM as the upper limit, depending on the operating mode.
Dimensions:
The casing is tiny. Its dimensions are 45x45x18 mm + mounting eyelet. The connection cable is 45-50 cm long, while the deactivation sensor cable is approximately 100 cm long. The wheel sensor itself measures just 28x19 mm, and the cable is approximately 50 cm long.
Installation:
For installation, you need to connect the module's four wires. You'll need +12V (switched by the contact block), the brake signal, the pickup signal, and ground/minus. The wheel sensor and wheel magnet must be located on the front or rear wheel of the scooter.
Digital or analog speed limiter:
The digital speed limiter has a number of advantages over analog limiters:
- Continuous speed regulation
- No loss of power at low revs
- Automatic activation of the limiter
- Double check for greater safety
- No splicing or soldering of cables thanks to quick cable connectors
The benefits at a glance:
- Digital control of speed and rpm, individually or combined
- Infinite programming of speed and number of revolutions
- Adjustable pre-steps for a smooth transition
- No speed reduction below maximum speed in KMH mode
- No power reduction at low revs in speed mode
- Better finish for longer life
The supply includes:
- Speed limiter KMH
- Deactivation magnet
- 4 quick connectors
- Wheel sensor + self-adhesive wheel magnet
- Detailed step-by-step installation instructions with cable assignments from the most common manufacturers
Compatibility:
The DZB works with almost all 2-stroke carbureted machines (e.g. the most common Minarelli replicas like CPI and Keeway). Unfortunately, the module does not work with 4-stroke motorcycles , direct injection motorcycles, Morini engines, and double pickup motorcycles .
