From the technology of the famous MHR Trofeo Malossi Scooter seven-port thermal units, the new BIG BORE Ø 50 thermal units, stroke 39.2/39.3 and 44, have taken shape, designed for Minarelli and Piaggio engines.

All the pilots, enthusiastic about the novelty, wanted to test them. The results were not long in coming: the increase in power and absolute reliability have demonstrated, once again, the quality of the product and the professionalism of the Malossi company.

Technical features:

- Seven-port cylinder, H2O, gravity-cast in hardened aluminum alloy, cermetal coated barrel smoothed with diamond tools

- Bore 50

- Reinforced single-ring piston with domed head

- Segment Ø 50 x 0.8 in KDN5 cast iron

- Split head in hardened primary aluminum alloy with calculated and oriented cooling circuit conveyance system.

Technical note: the thermal units listed above have been designed to be used exclusively in combination with Malossi crankshafts.

ATTENTION: To ensure the necessary rigidity of the thermal group, the cylinder has an insertion diameter in the engine crankcase of 56.2 -0.1/-0.2 mm. It is therefore necessary to bore the crankcases with a 56.7 +0.0/0.1 mm boring bar to a depth of 21 mm.
