Malossi Brake Pads SPORT are brake pads made with organic friction material, completely free of asbestos.

MHR SYNT
BRAKE PADS MHR SYNT
Pads with sintered friction material have the highest friction coefficient ever and therefore guarantee shorter stopping distances with breathtaking decelerations. Their peculiarity is the ability to maintain constant performance regardless of temperature and weather conditions.
The friction material is obtained through the sintering of metal powders and other copper-based elements, resulting in a compound that enhances braking power without penalizing durability.
MHR
BRAKE PADS MHR
The friction material of BRAKE PADS MHR pads is made with completely organic and absolutely asbestos-free fibers. The compound has been specifically designed for racing use and minimizes the fading effect.
The MHR BRAKE PADS reach the point of maximum performance in the shortest possible time, while maintaining perfect consistency of performance and exemplary braking modulation from the first to the last lap of a race, an essential condition for use on the track.
The compound of these pads contains elements that prevent the friction material from burning when subjected to strong stresses, such as those created during a competition!

It is very important to us that our customers are certain that MALOSSI PADS and MALOSSI SYNT PADS comply with the strict standards imposed by ECE R90 approval and can be used on road vehicles throughout Europe and in many countries around the world.
HOW ARE MALOSSI PADS APPROVED?
To obtain this certification, MALOSSI PADS must pass some road tests performed on the vehicle for which the pads are intended. During these tests, efficiency is verified through a series of braking tests both "cold" and under stress, to evaluate the resistance of the pad and its braking capacity at different speeds. Sensitivity tests are also planned to evaluate what pressure variation is needed to obtain the same deceleration value at three different speeds. In addition to road tests, the material with which the pads are made is also subjected to laboratory tests such as resistance to compression and shear.
Malossi has obtained the E/ECE/324-E/ECE/TRANS/505 Regulation No. 90 certification thanks to the collaboration of Dekra, a true giant in the certification sector. The vehicle tests were carried out by Dekra inspectors at the Balocco Proving Ground and at the Dekra Test Centre in Cinisello Balsamo, and they exceeded the requirements of the ECE R90 regulation by a wide margin!

Procedura consigliata per montaggio e controlli finali (prima di avviare il motore).

STEP 1Prepara il veicolo posizionandolo su un supporto stabile per garantire sicurezza e comodità durante l'intervento; assicurati che il freno sia completamente rilasciato.

STEP 2Rimuovi la ruota anteriore seguendo le procedure standard del manuale del veicolo per accedere comodamente al sistema frenante.

STEP 3Individua la pinza freno anteriore e svita con cura le viti che la fissano, facendo attenzione a non danneggiare i tubi del freno.

STEP 4Estrai la pinza dal disco, quindi rimuovi le vecchie pastiglie freno, prendendo nota del loro posizionamento e di eventuali spessori di battuta.

STEP 5Pulisci con uno sgrassante specifico e un panno pulito la superficie della pinza e il disco freno, eliminando sporco, polvere e residui.

STEP 6Inserisci le nuove pastiglie Malossi nel portapastiglie rispettando il verso corretto e verificando che aderiscano perfettamente.

STEP 7Se previsto, sostituisci o lubrifica leggermente i perni di scorrimento della pinza per garantire il corretto movimento.

STEP 8Rimonta la pinza freno sulla forcella e avvita le viti di fissaggio rispettando la coppia indicata dal costruttore.

STEP 9Rimonta la ruota anteriore e accertati che si muova liberamente senza attriti e che il disco sia posizionato correttamente tra le pastiglie.

STEP 10Prima di utilizzare il veicolo, pompa più volte la leva del freno anteriore fino a raggiungere una pressione adeguata e una buona risposta del freno.

STEP 11Controlla eventuali perdite di fluido, quindi esegui un breve test di frenata progressiva a bassa velocità in un'area sicura prima di riprendere la guida normale.
