VR-One MHR engine case with reed valve intake from Malossi
The VR-One crankcase is perfect for the tuned Vespa PX to provide the ideal starting point for high performance components.
Malossi offers two reinforced versions: the V-One crankcase with rotary valve intake and the VR-One with reed valve intake. The Malossi VR-One with reed valve intake is the perfect choice for the most demanding tuners.
Extremely robust construction, improved materials, stable connection of the halves, adapted transfer ports, improved flow dynamics, improved bearings, improved sealing... As always, Malossi sets new standards.
Features of the Malossi VR-One engine case:
- Racing case: The Malossi VR-One is designed for high performance. Typical weak points have been reinforced. Roller bearings instead of needle bearings increase load capacity. An innovative screw connection with M8 screws (instead of M7) ensures a stronger and tighter connection between the two halves.
- Diaphragm inlet: Supplied with a reinforced 6-blade diaphragm. High-quality carbon discs ensure increased performance at all engine speeds.
- Intake Manifold: Supplied with a 360° rotatable intake manifold for 30-34 mm PHBH carburetors. The intake manifold features a die-cast flange connected to a Viton screw fitting via a profiled lip, ensuring a perfect seal. It can be perfectly adapted to the vehicle/equipment.
- High-quality workmanship: Manufactured with high-precision CNC technology and a lightweight aluminum alloy for excellent mechanical strength.
- Easy installation: Installation requires no additional components. To overcome the inefficiencies of the standard bolt-and-nut fastening system, the nuts have been removed and the threads have been integrated into the transmission housing (left side) and ignition housing anchor points (right side). This facilitates assembly and disassembly and prevents the screws from being lost or damaged during operation.
